Winter Pool Maintenance Tip

Temps are dropping to well below freezing this week! To avoid costly repairs, make sure your freeze guard is working properly. The best way to check this, is to make sure the swimming pool equipment automatically turns on when temps drop below 32°. If it does not, turn the equipment on manually, and give us a call. The function of the freeze guard is to keep the water circulating, preventing frozen pipes and damage to equipment.

One common misconception is that the heater will automatically turn on, but in fact water circulation is the only thing needed to prevent damage from frozen pipes. If you have any questions, give us a call at 817-442-5787.
